Who I am
Because it wasn't always there. Not really, anyway. Mostly, I just made a lot of music myself.
I made music myself for years, starting out on piano. I wrote my first digital compositions as a kid on a Yamaha PSR-500. "Start small," as they say. That setup kept growing over the years. And all the while, I kept writing and playing songs, for myself and in a band.
What I didn't have back then was someone who could tell me why a track didn't sound the way I heard it in my head — what the gap was between the music I made myself and what I heard coming out of the speakers from my favourite artists. Closing that gap is exactly what I want to do for other producers and artists.
For the artist or producer ready for the next step.
As an artist, producer or songwriter, you want one thing: for the feeling you put into a track to actually reach the listener. My role as a mix engineer is to let that exact feeling of a song, EP or album speak for itself. The fact that I'm turning a bunch of knobs and listening to the same 10 seconds over and over — that part's just for my own enjoyment.
In a collaboration, I work for you: it's your music, so your feeling has to be right. I simply explain upfront what you'll get and what it costs, and I keep refining until it truly is right — even if that takes several rounds. Beyond that, I'm all about easy contact, quick replies and honest feedback. And honestly, I love every kind of music.
Curious if we could work together? I'd love to hear from you.

Not necessarily useful. But there you go.

I played keys in a band called Heder ("Hederrrrr!").
Biggest fee
Someone once threw a €50 note off a bridge onto the boat we were playing on with the band.
Impulse buy
I once bought an electronic drum kit — mid bike ride. I still can't really play it.

Born and raised in Tilburg, with a 5-year detour to Nijmegen in between.
Dream
One day I'll write a hit of my own. Until then, I'm happy working on everyone else's!
