These terms apply to every agreement between MixByMas and the client, unless we agree otherwise in writing. By placing an order with me, you agree to these terms.
The prices listed on the Services page are leading. Before starting an assignment, I confirm the price and scope of the work in writing by email, so we both know exactly where we stand. If you want to add something during the project that isn't part of the originally agreed package, we'll agree on a separate price for that before I start on it. Listed prices exclude VAT.
Unlimited revisions are included, as described on the Services page — meaning I keep working until you're satisfied. After I receive your complete material, I deliver the first version within 7 calendar days. If you'd like any further changes after that, just let me know; I process revisions as quickly as possible after your response. If I haven't heard back within 4 weeks, I may consider the project completed.
I work with full payment upon delivery. Payment is made by bank transfer within 14 days of the invoice date.
Copyright on the delivered music always stays with you. In principle, I only provide a mixing and mastering service. I don't claim any rights to your composition, lyrics or recording, unless we agree otherwise together. You warrant that you hold the rights to the material you supply, so that I can work with it without any issues. If I'd like to use a fragment of your track as an example in my portfolio, I'll always ask for separate permission first — this never happens without your explicit consent.
I deliver my work with care and attention, but I can't guarantee that the end result will exactly match a subjective expectation. That's why I work with unlimited revision rounds, so we can arrive at the right result together. My liability for any damages arising from the collaboration is limited to the amount invoiced for the assignment in question. I am not liable for damage resulting from your own failure to back up the material you supply — always keep your own copy.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Should we unexpectedly have a dispute we can't resolve together, it will be submitted to the competent Dutch court.
